Add a new item

Items are the products and services you buy and sell in RockifyERP. Set them up carefully once and every document uses them.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Go to Stock › Item and click + Add Item.
  2. Enter the Item Code and Item Name.
  3. Choose the Item Group and Default Unit of Measure.
  4. Keep Maintain Stock ticked for physical goods; untick it for services.
  5. Set the Standard Selling Rate and Valuation Rate if known.
  6. Save, then add barcodes, reorder levels, defaults and taxes.

Tip: Keep item codes short and consistent, for example CEM-50KG.
