Country, currency and regional settings

Your company’s country decides the default date format, currency and chart of accounts template in RockifyERP.

What you need to know

  • Country: set on the company. It decides the default currency and time zone.
  • Currency: RockifyERP supports every currency. Kenyan, Ugandan, Tanzanian and Rwandan shillings and francs sit alongside USD, EUR and others.
  • Date and number formats: set in System Settings, for example dd-mm-yyyy and 1,234.56.
  • Time zone: set in System Settings so posting times match your working day, for example Africa/Nairobi.

Tip: If you trade in more than one currency, read “Multi-currency setup” before you create foreign-currency customers.
