Chart of accounts
The chart of accounts is the list of every account in your RockifyERP books, arranged as a tree under Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income and Expenses.
How to do it in RockifyERP
- Go to Accounting › Chart of Accounts and choose the company.
- Click a group to expand it. Groups hold other accounts; ledger accounts hold the entries.
- To add an account, click its parent group and choose Add Child. Enter the name, whether it’s a group, and the Account Type (for example Bank, Cash, Receivable, Payable, Tax or Stock).
- Click an account and choose View Ledger to see its entries.
Tip: Keep the tree simple. Use cost centres or accounting dimensions for branches and departments instead of extra accounts.
