Secondary items and by-products

Some processes produce extra items alongside the main product. RockifyERP records them as secondary items or scrap.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. On the BOM, add secondary or scrap items with expected quantities and rates.
  2. When manufacturing, they are received into stock automatically.
  3. Their value reduces the main product’s cost.

Tip: Track sellable by-products separately from waste.
