Buy in different units

Buy items in the supplier’s unit in RockifyERP, such as bags, drums or cartons, while keeping stock in your own unit.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Add the conversion to the item, for example Bag = 50 Kg.
  2. On the purchase order, choose the purchase UOM.
  3. Set a Default Purchase Unit of Measure on the item if you always buy that way.

Tip: Check the conversion factor carefully. A wrong factor distorts stock values.
