Why didn't my budget stop a transaction?

If RockifyERP let a transaction through that should have been blocked, check these.

What you need to know

  • The budget’s action is set to Warn instead of Stop.
  • The transaction used a different cost centre or account than the budget.
  • The budget isn’t submitted, or covers a different fiscal year.
  • Budget checks for purchase orders and material requests are set separately from actual expenses.

Tip: Test a budget with a small purchase order before relying on it.
