Journal entries
A journal entry in RockifyERP records any accounting movement that doesn’t have its own document, such as accruals, depreciation adjustments, bank charges or corrections.
How to do it in RockifyERP
- Go to Accounting › Journal Entry and click + Add.
- Choose the Entry Type, usually Journal Entry, and the posting date.
- Add rows with the account, party (for receivable or payable accounts) and debit or credit amounts.
- Check total debit equals total credit, add a User Remark, then Save and Submit.
Tip: If there is a document for the transaction, such as a supplier invoice, use that instead of a journal entry.
