Import data from Excel

The Data Import tool loads hundreds of records into RockifyERP at once from an Excel or CSV file: customers, items, suppliers, opening invoices and more.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Search for Data Import and click + Add Data Import.
  2. Choose the Document Type, for example Customer, and the Import Type: Insert New Records or Update Existing Records.
  3. Click Save, then Download Template. Choose the columns you need and download it as Excel.
  4. Fill in the template, keeping the column headings exactly as they are.
  5. Attach the file under Import File and check the preview for warnings.
  6. Click Start Import. RockifyERP shows a log of every row that succeeded or failed.

Tip: Import a few rows first as a test. Fix any errors, then import the full file.
