What you need to know
- Bill of materials (BOM): the recipe for each product.
- Production plan: what to make, from sales orders or forecasts.
- Work order: an instruction to make a quantity.
- Job card: records each operation on the floor.
- Raw material use and finished goods post to stock and accounts automatically.
Tip: Start with accurate BOMs. Everything else depends on them.
