Create and submit a sales invoice
A sales invoice in RockifyERP records what you sold and what the customer owes. When you submit it, your stock and accounts update automatically.
How to do it in RockifyERP
- Go to Accounting › Sales Invoice and click + Add Sales Invoice, or create it from a sales order or delivery note.
- Choose the Customer. Their address, price list and payment terms fill in.
- Check the Posting Date and Payment Due Date.
- Add each item with its quantity and rate.
- Choose the sales tax template, for example VAT 16% (Kenya) or VAT 18% (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda).
- Tick Update Stock if goods leave with this invoice and there is no delivery note.
- Click Save, check the totals, then Submit.
Tip: A submitted invoice can’t be edited. To correct it, cancel and amend it, or issue a credit note.
