Item codes that work
A good item code system in RockifyERP makes searching, reporting and picking faster.
What you need to know
- Keep codes short and meaningful, for example CEM-50KG or PAINT-WHT-4L.
- Use a prefix per item group.
- Avoid spaces and special characters.
- Put the full description in Item Name, not the code.
Tip: Agree the coding rules before importing items. Renaming later is painful.
