Serial number naming

RockifyERP can create serial numbers automatically using a pattern, such as LAP-2026-0001.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Open the item.
  2. Set Serial Number Series, for example LAP-.YYYY.-.####.
  3. Serials are created automatically on receipt or manufacture.

Tip: Use the manufacturer’s serial if one exists, so warranties match.
