Perpetual inventory

Perpetual inventory means RockifyERP posts accounting entries for every stock transaction in real time.

What you need to know

  • Turned on per company with Enable Perpetual Inventory.
  • Each warehouse is linked to a stock account.
  • Cost of goods sold is booked at delivery, not estimated at month end.

Tip: Perpetual inventory is recommended for most trading and manufacturing businesses.
