Mobile money payments (M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money)

Mobile money is how most East African customers pay. In RockifyERP, each till, paybill or wallet is set up like a bank account.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Create a ledger account for each till, paybill or wallet, for example M-Pesa Paybill 123456.
  2. Create a matching Mode of Payment linked to that account.
  3. Record each receipt with a payment entry, using the transaction code as the reference.
  4. Import the mobile money statement and reconcile it like a bank account.

Tip: If your RockifyERP setup includes an M-Pesa integration, receipts can be created automatically. Ask the RockifyERP team.
