Payments to and from owners' capital

Money the owner puts into or takes out of the business goes to capital or drawings accounts in RockifyERP, not to income or expenses.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Create a Payment Entry of type Receive or Pay.
  2. Set the party type to Shareholder (or leave the party empty) and choose the capital or drawings account.
  3. Choose the bank or mobile money account and enter the amount.
  4. Save and Submit.

Tip: Keep owners’ personal spending out of business expense accounts. Use drawings.
