Move an account to a new parent

You can move an account to a different group in the RockifyERP chart of accounts, for example to tidy up expenses.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Open the account.
  2. Change Parent Account to the new group.
  3. Click Save. Reports reflect the new structure straight away.

Tip: Moving an account between root types, such as from Income to Expense, isn’t allowed once it has entries.
