Import a chart of accounts
If you already have an account list from another system, the Chart of Accounts Importer loads it into RockifyERP in one go. It’s best done before you post any transactions.
How to do it in RockifyERP
- Search for Chart of Accounts Importer.
- Choose your Company and download the template.
- Fill in each account’s name, parent account, whether it’s a group, and its root type (Asset, Liability, Equity, Income or Expense).
- Attach the file and click Import. RockifyERP validates the tree before replacing the existing chart.
Tip: The importer replaces the company’s chart of accounts, so use it only on a new company with no transactions.
