Restrict users to certain records (user permissions)

User permissions limit a person to specific records in RockifyERP, such as one company, branch, warehouse or set of customers.

How to do it in RockifyERP

  1. Go to Users › User Permission and click + Add.
  2. Choose the User.
  3. In Allow, choose the record type, for example Warehouse, and in For Value pick the record, for example Mombasa Store.
  4. Tick Apply To All Document Types, or limit it to certain documents.
  5. Click Save. The user now only sees documents linked to that value.

Tip: Branch staff usually get a user permission for their branch’s warehouse and cost centre. That keeps their lists short and accurate.
